Comprehensive review of nonisolated bridgeless power factor converter topologies

The intention of this study is to provide a critical review single-phase nonisolated bridgeless power factor converter topologies, which will be useful for novice researchers in the electronics field. nature reduces number switching devices current path and achieves higher efficiency. Nonisolated topologies are considered due inherent advantages they offer such as lower cost, weight size efficiency, desirable systems on-board electric vehicle battery chargers, direct supplies variable speed drives. These derived from conventional boost, buck buck/boost converters. Moreover, can operated continuous or discontinuous conduction modes subject their applications. Each topology described terms its limitations. In addition, comparative conducted each group (boost, buck/boost).
